Dieting (I lost 10 pounds).
- I’m doing the shake and salad thing. Shakes at breakfast and lunch, big salads at night. Mild exercise during and after work. I get a lot of walking at work.
Working (I gained gobs of money).
- I’ve caught up on all my bills and have set up a plan for the future that will meet my future bills, secure my savings, pay down my debt and leave me with a comfortable entertainment/household budget. Once Corin starts her job on the 19th, EVERYTHING gets 100% easier.
Reading just about every DC comic in the company’s history.
- Actually I’ve been reading the 50 or so books associated with the “Infinite Crisis” event. But I find that the more I learn about the DCU the more I want to learn and this led me to “Crisis on Infinite Earths”, the JSA/JLA history and the obscure characters from all the corners of the DC multiverse. I’ve downloaded a great deal of it, but this has led me to get back in to buying single issues. Thanks also goes to my buddy Shad for kick-starting my collection with a shit load of cool modern stuff. I’m geeking over the DCU. I totally take back all that stuff I said about it before. It fucking rules. I’m actually going to be thinning out my old crappy comics (Savage Dragon?!? WTF was I thinking?) to make room for my new favorites. It just sucks that comic shops will pay pennies if anything for them. :(
