Long Day.
May 8, 2003 – 9:46 pmWoke up and found Hojo was off. I accompanied him on a “run around town getting things in order” trip. We visited his work, his bank and Fry’s. He has been trying to get his bank to give him a loan for a car. They said if he paid some bills, then they would clear him. He did, but they said after all that the were not going to approve. Bummer. I think he can still finance through a dealer, it just may be more expensive.
We went to Fry’s to get him a digital camera. We ran into Jacob there. He was looking at the digital capture stuff….which is coincidental. We helped him find some cool stuff. Hojo bought a multifunction digital camera and we looked at routers and PC cases. It was fun, but man, I get so sad at all the cool stuff I can’t afford….yet!
I ate out twice today. First at Saigon Kitchen (my favorite Vietnamese/Chinese place). I had the sesame tofu, Hojo had the Sweet and Sour Pork. I love tofu. It can be fried, boiled, grilled, barbecued, you name it. I love it. Plus, it tastes like what ever you cook it with. Garlic and ginger, there you go. Cocoa powder? Chocolate.
We met up with Corin and went out to Magnolia. Actually we went to Kirby Lane first, but Corin said the salad she wanted wasn’t on the menu…it was on Magnolia’s. So we went there. I had nachos, Hojo had pancakes (Blueberry), and Corin had the salad. Hojo made a crack about the size of the salad and she got bent out of shape over it. I see her point, but it wasn’t a personal attack and I think it should drop.
So here I am, wondering what game I should pick for Erin and Andy, tonight. I’m going to the supermarket to get stuff, maybe a walk will clear my head a bit.
