The Long Long Wait.

I’m still waiting on the status of my job at Target. I called yesterday and spoke with the woman that interviewed me. She says that her boss is setting up the orientation and schedules. She said that she didn’t know my status, but a lot of people are still waiting as they are having a tough time setting up the schedule. I gave her my phone number again and she said she would email her boss to call me. I told her I’d call in a few days if I didn’t here anything. Not being hired I can deal with, but I’d like to know. If I am hired, but don’t have any hours yet, I can deal with that to. Argh.

My brother sent me a Palm Pilot as a late Christmas/Birthday gift. It is awesome. I have found so many uses for it. I keep to-do lists and shopping list. Movies I want to see and things I want to buy. It is both a metronome and a voo-doo doll. I have a Japanese language dictionary and a dice rolling program. It even doubles as a remote control. I love it. I can feel myself lust after one of the new, full color models. I’m trying to put together a calender of events so I know all the cool stuff going on. I need people to post or email me their birthdays and other important anniversaries.
