The Plague Continues.
March 17, 2008 – 10:53 pmI’m still sick. I stayed home from work and slept all day. I’ve probably slept 18 hours out of the last 24. I have to go back to work tomorrow as I’m out of sick time. I slept most of the weekend, but I found time to upgrade my Ubuntu file server to a “media center”.
At the moment it’s basically a PC connected to the TV using VLC to play videos. Unfortunately, the server hard drive is only 80GB and that’s almost full. I need to upgrade the hard drive to something bigger, maybe a 1-4TB RAID setup, so I can store all our video and music files. It also needs a remote control and a snazzier case, but that’s extra. The point is that I can now watch anime and old TV shows on my TV.
I’m still looking at WordPress themes. If there is one that you like, let me know. This theme is called “pop blue”. I’ve made minor edits to it, but it’s okay. I like the “read more” feature, but I need to figure out how to increase the number of lines in the preview.
I promise more interesting stuff is forthcoming. I’m still getting in the habit of posting everyday.
