May 7, 2003 – 1:09 pmToday I plan to navigate the strange and scary Texas Department of Safety. I still haven’t gotten a Texas driver’s license and will need one soon. My California one runs out this year. I hope I don’t have to take a test (though I bet I will). I also need to learn what steps need to be taken to legally drive a vehicle. How much insurance is needed, what registrations, what inspections…etc. It’s a boring day for me. Once I have a license and a legal car, another goal will be accomplished. Nothing is more satisfying than checking off an item on a check list.
