We Got a Wii.
November 20, 2008 – 12:24 amWe celebrated Corin’s birthday with the family on Monday the 17th at her sister’s house. Little did they know that their mom and step dad coordinated a birthday suprise with Erin’s husband Andy and me. They bought the twins each a Wii and I got Corin a second set of controllers and Animal Crossing: City Folk. Andy got Erin some games and the Wii Fit system. Of course when Corin played with the Wii Fit, she was hooked. Today we had to go and get it too. This is like getting a present of my own too, I’m so loving it. I wasn’t sold on the sports games, but man are they fun. The Wii Fit system seems really logical to me. I think I can combine my love of games with my need to lose weight. There’s something about the support that the virtual trainers give you. It’s so comforting. Plus any way to exercise indoors is okay by me. It will be nice to track my progress. There was an added bonus that even after a full dinner and a soda, I weighed less than I thought I did. Nice little surprise!

OMG thank you so much, sweetie. I fucking LOVE the Wii!!! And you know the major selling point of Animal Crossing is that you get to play with me! ^____^ But the next game we get HAS to be the Star Wars lightsaber duels game. Because HOLY SHIT STAR WARS.
