Steely Dan’s “My Old School”.

Steely Dan is awesome, on this we can all agree. In fact I’ve discovered that there are two types of Steely Dan songs: songs I love and songs I don’t love yet. Lately my favorite song is “My Old School” off the “Count Down to Ecstasy” album. All this aside there is one undeniable fact: Donald Fagen is one ugly motherfucker. I used to think that there was a conspiracy to keep Steely Dan down (considering the tripe that rose to fame at that time). But no, I now believe it was Don’s ugly mug that held them back.
